Children's/Christian Education Ministry Assistant

Dorie Fischer, has been a member of WCOG since 2006.  She feels blessed to be part of such a caring, loving church family.

Dorie was born and raised in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She has three married children, living in West Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina and seven grandchildren. Prior to moving to Virginia, she was the Outreach Ministry Assistant at a church in Arizona.

Dorie is actively involved in Small Groups and loves working with the Children’s Ministry. She began volunteering in the church office in 2006. Through both her roles as a church member and employee, Dorie has been involved in the Children's Ministry, Small Groups, Care Ministry, Administration, and Discipleship Ministry. She presently serves in the office as the Children’s/Christian Education Ministry Assistant. She is thankful to God for opening this door for her in ministry to serve Him better.
