Care Pastor

Kent Woodward serves as our Care Pastor and has a heart and passion to administer care to everyone he meets. He works directly with his wife Sue, who is the Ministry Assistant. Kent and his family have been members since 1996 when they moved to this area from Hampton, Virginia. They have three wonderful children: Wesley, Amanda, and Austin, and are also foster parents of two sibling girls, Crystal and McKenzie.

Before joining the staff at WCOG, Kent worked at Costco Wholesale for over 18 years. During this time, he served his company and employees as a senior manager. While working for Costco he recieved credentials to pastor through the Chruch of God. He has also earned his Music Pastor's license and Chaplain's license. Kent graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Education. He has just recently become ordained through the Church of God.

Kent has served in many ministries at this church including: Choir, Praise Team, Ensemble, Youth Staff, Small Group and Section Leader. Since assuming his new position in 2006, he has worked diligently to provide leadership to the Care Ministries of Winchester Church of God.
