Multicultural Ministries Pastor

Manuel Cortes is originally from Chile. He moved to North Carolina in 1998 where he completed a degree in Christian Education from Heritage Bible College in Dunn.

Manuel grew up in the Pentecostal Methodist Church in Santiago. At a very early age, he felt the need of reaching out to the community. He became heavily involved with the Church Education Department, helped kids better score in the SAT, and coordinated different projects for a Christian TV and newspaper.

After planting a Hispanic church in Grimesland, North Carolina, He moved to Winchester in the year 2000 and became director of Terraglobe Ministries International, an evangelistic organization based in Winchester. He also serves as a volunteer interpreter for several organizations in Frederick and Clarke county.

At the Winchester Church of God, he has served in the Music Departament, Sunday School, Small Groups, and presently with the Hispanic Ministries. He also teamed up with other congregations in the Northern Virginia region to better serve the Hispanic community.
