Sue Woodward works alongside her life-partner and best friend of 20 years, Kent, who is the Care Pastor. They work together as they meet the many needs of the congregation and community. Sue has been working at the church since 2004. Her family has been attending since 1996. She served faithfully in Youth Ministry for 11 years. She has worked with Royal Family Kids' Camp (a camp for abused and neglected children) for four years and is currently serving as the Nursery Ministry Assistant Director.
Sue shares a passion for hurting children with her husband and family. She volunteers and works closely within the Department of Social Services as a Co-Trainer for new Foster families. She has led a "Sharing & Caring" small group for Foster mothers for five years and loves to encourage others working with hurting children.
Sue and Kent feel truly blessed to have four wonderful children, Wesley, Amanda, Austin and McKenzie. They have had over 15 foster children in their care with many different circumstances and needs. Sue says, "They will continue to share the love of Jesus with any child that God places with them. We are obedient as a family to whatever the Lord calls us to do. He never calls us to do anything in His name that we cannot achieve."
