Leadership

"Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church. I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness- the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generation, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me." Colossians 1:24-29 (NIV)

In this passage of scripture the Apostle Paul was talking the church at Colosse where in Colossians 2:2 he tells them of his purpose for this letter, both to encourage and delight in them. "My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." As we walk this path together, the Pastors and staff want to encourage and unite in the love of Christ with you. Through the direction of the Holy Spirit we strive to fulfill the Great Commission; to go forth and make disciples. With Christ as the head of His church we will continue to work with you in sincere love and compassion; rejoicing in each other’s triumphs, weeping in one another’s pain, and loving and embracing each person through personal trials.
