Celebrate Recovery - We extend an open invitation to those struggling with addictions or dysfunctions to join us on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the
Rehearsal Room.
Blood Drive - Please partner with us in helping our area Red Cross. With the recent snow they lost over 1,500 pints of blood and need our help to replenish their supply. We will be hosting a Blood Drive here on Wednesday, March 31 from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. in rooms 138 and 136. Reserve your time for giving at the Information Center now. Walk-ins will also be welcomed.
Used Book Sale - Volunteer Emergency Families for Children (VEFC) is collecting used books for a sale to be held April 9 - 10. Donated books can be brought on April 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to the Calvary Church of the Brethren, 578 Front Royal Pike in Winchester. Sunday Children’s Worship Service - 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Kid’s Church in the Grove Worship Center; and 10:00 a.m. Sunday School.
Wednesday Services - Children’s Choir is from 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. in the Rehearsal Room. All children from K through 5th grade are invited to join the choir. Adventure Arts classes are from 6:35 - 6:55 p.m. Royal Rangers and Missionettes classes are from 7:00 - 8:15 p.m.
Milestone 2 – Faith Seminar – Will be held next Sunday March 14 and 21 from
10:00 – 10:50 a.m. in room 134. Join Pastor Jeremy and get answers to the questions: 1) What should I be teaching my child at home about God? 2) How can I lead age-appropriate faith talks with my child? 3) How do I know if my child is ready to accept Christ? Sign-up at the
Information Center for this important Milestone seminar.
Family Game Night – Mark your calendars for Family Game Night to be held on Friday,
March 26 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Grove Worship Center. Bring your favorite board games to challenge other families. We will also have ping-pong, pool and foosball. Refreshments will also be available. Come and have fun as a family!

Membership 101 - Is being held next Sunday, March 14 at 5:00 p.m. in the Rehearsal Room. This class is required for church membership, but attendance does not mean that you have to join. Please sign up at the Information Center this morning if you plan to attend.
“Family Matters” Sermon Series - Pastor Waller will conclude the series today with the topic Before You Give Up, Think About These Things. This 4-week series will be available on CD and may be purchased in the bookstore for only $12.

“Spring Into Health Seminar” - Will be held downstairs on Saturday, March 20. Join us from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a morning of informative health topics by guest speakers! Please stop by our table in the foyer to sign up if you plan to attend, and to pick up a flyer listing the topics. This event is free; however, there will be a $20 fee for anyone who would like to take the Heart Attack Risk Screening (men are welcome to take this screening). This test will require a 12-hour fast.
Family Life Center Fundraiser - The Women of Faith and Fellowship will host a reception and “Pots, Pans and Utensils” fundraiser immediately following the 11:00 a.m. service on Sunday, March 14. All monies collected will help to purchase the kitchen utensils for the new Family Life Center. Won’t you stop by, enjoy some lite fare, and make a donation?

“Night of Praise” – Will be held in the Youth Sanctuary on Wednesday, March 10 from
7:00 – 8:15 p.m. Youth are encouraged to invite their friends for a night of special worship
featuring our Dance, Drama and Praise Teams. What a great opportunity to get connected!
Apple Blossom Fundraiser –The Youth are building a float to advertise the Winchester Church of God and the Youth Ministry. To help raise funds to build this float, the Youth will be selling Apple Blossom shirts. What a great way to show your support of the church and ministry! Order forms are available at the Information Center.
Easter Candy is Back! – Our Youth will once again be making delicious chocolate candy. Order forms, candy selections, and details are available at the Information Center. Pick up an order form today. Proceeds will go towards the Youth’s summer missions trips.
Easter Events at the Church
Invite your family and friends to join us for our Easter events. We have several special happenings planned as we celebrate our Risen Savior!
Good Friday, April 2: The annual complimentary community
luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Communion will be offered for those who would like to partake.
Easter Sunday, April 4: Sunrise Service at 7:00 a.m., followed by breakfast. Sunday School will be held at 10:00 a.m. Worship services at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Our annual Easter egg hunt will take place
immediately following the 11:00 a.m. service. This is open to all
children in 5th grade and younger.
