Care

We love our community. We want to minister to those in our community who are in need. Our mission is simple: find a need and fill it. Our intentional passion is to serve and minister to our community as the hands and feet of Jesus. Whether it is a physical, financial, social, mental, or spiritual need, we want to help you through it with love. Check out our many different care ministries that are designed specifically to help those who are in need in our community and around the world.

Assistance

If you are in need of food, clothing, gas, or other essentials, we want to help you. We can help you feed your family, fill your gas tank, get a computer, and much, much more. Visit our Hope Again Care Center in Old Town Winchester on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Saturday mornings of each month for food distribution and prayer. If you need assistance please email us.

If you would like to contribute or volunteer in this life-changing ministry, email Pastor Kent.

Recovery

We want to help you overcome the struggles in your life, no matter what they may be. Celebrate Recovery is an ongoing, Christ-centered 12-step recovery program that meets every Thursday at 7pm. We extend an open invitation to anyone struggling with hurt, grief, depression, dependency, dysfunction, habits, addictions, or hang-ups to join us as we support each other through our individual journeys of the recovery process. Email us for more information.

Care Connections

We are committed to caring for the elderly of our church. Care Connections is a ministry that gives our younger members an opportunity to adopt our elderly members in order to help and encourage them. Once a connection is made, you make a visit once a month, make two phone calls per month, send cards for special occasions, pray with and for your connection, perform other visits and services decided on your own, and report to the Care Ministry Pastor. This ministry is a very rewarding experience for both parties of the connections. For more information, email us or give us a call.

Missions

We are actively involved in missions around the world. Our two most prominent missional outreaches are in Romania and Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands. We take a team to Romania every year to do missional work in the orphanages, hospitals, churches, and communities. We have also been in a long-time-partnership with Sanctuary of Hope New Testament Church of God in Virgin Gorda, led by Pastor Paul Ricketts.

Email us if you would like to give to missions or be involved in one of our missions trips.

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer. We currently have an accumulating list of almost 4.5k names of your children and grandchildren for whom we pray weekly. We have a Prayer Summit on occasional Sunday evenings at 6pm in the Main Sanctuary, where we come together for corporate prayer time. This is a powerful experience that brings us closer as a church and closer to God. Our men meet the first Wednesday of each month for "First Wednesday Prayer" with Pastor Waller. We also have an ongoing prayer chain for the urgent needs of our congregation and community. If you or someone close to you has a need and would like prayer, we want to pray for you!
